Drawworks Depth Sensor

A heavy-duty rotary encoder that converts drawworks movement into the signal required for real-time drilling-depth calculation.

Mounted directly to the drawworks, the sensor reads shaft rotation and supplies a stable pulse signal to the mud logging or data acquisition system. That signal supports continuous tracking of block movement and well depth during drilling operations.
